Control week against criminal interference

To combat criminal interference in the floriculture sector, Transport Facilitated Organized Crime(TFOC) held a week of action at three Royal FloraHolland auction sites in May. In addition to inspections, many conversations were held with drivers and business owners to increase awareness and thus resilience.

During the undermining festival, about 400 police officers from the Haaglanden region were updated on undermining in the horticulture sector.
Visit State Secretary Resilient Ornamental Horticulture Sector

State Secretary Aukje de Vries visited the Center Resilient Floriculture Sector at Royal FloraHolland’s location in Aalsmeer. Within the “Resilient Floriculture Sector” program, Royal FloraHolland is working with regional authorities, the police, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and customs to tackle undermining crime and abuses in the floriculture sector.
