Together we keep the floriculture industry strong and safe! This includes inspections, which our government partners such as police, customs, Platform Veilig Ondernemen and Het Twickelerveld B.V. organize together with Royal FloraHolland.

During the inspection days in June, 117 vehicles, mostly trucks, were subjected to an integral inspection in Rijnsburg. During the checks in Aalsmeer, 100 vehicles were checked. According to the implementing parties, the checks are carried out in such a way that a truck – and thus trade – is not unnecessarily idle.

In addition to the checks carried out, the actions were particularly aimed at raising awareness about the risks of criminal interference. During the company visits, discussions were held with employees and employers of companies on Royal FloraHolland’s sites. By discussing the dangers and providing tips on how to recognize and report signs, companies in the industry become not only more aware but also more resilient. Thus, the company visits promote cooperation between the industry and the government in the fight against criminal interference.
