POCO network launched
Together with companies, experts and the police we are pushing for a safer floriculture sector. One of the ways we do this is with POCO. This stands for point of contact undermining and is an active network of employees of companies, who contribute to countering undermining crime.
During the first training, Marcel van de Ven shared valuable insights and practical experiences and the police gave an insight into a joint approach. Participants learned to recognize signals of criminal interference and how to act on them immediately. It was an inspiring meeting. Nice to see how much knowledge, motivation and energy there was in the group.
Together we are stronger against undermining and crime! Becoming resilient starts with awareness, knowing what to look out for, seeing signals and then reporting them. People who work in the floriculture sector and are active at one of the Royal FloraHolland sites can join this network and discover how their business can become safer.
