Safety Week: time for a good conversation about undermining
This week was Safety Week. Time for a good conversation about safety on the shop floor at Royal Flora Holland locations. Because what is safety, how do you recognize signs of undermining crime and where can you report it? Because everyone wants and can contribute to a safe and enjoyable work environment.
At a barista bar with tasty coffee, tea and chocolate milk, we talked logistics staff and buyers about signs of possible criminal interference. Because together you see more than only police can see or the security teams.
In addition to good coffee, everyone received a mini flyer and yummy chocolate with more info and a QR code about reporting signals. Employees responded enthusiastically to both the coffee and the information they received during the talks.
The WOS made a nice item about it. Click here to view the news item.
Algemeen Dagblad edition Westland also wrote an article about it: “Drugs, weapons and cash can be transported between batches of flowers and plants just like that. Royal FloraHolland and the police are doing their utmost to tackle this type of undermining crime. They do this together under the banner of the Weerbare Sierteeltsector approach. They cannot do this alone, but they desperately need the eyes and ears of the hundreds of employees in the large marketplace.”
