Companies are also signing up for POCO this month. POCO stands for “point of contact undermining. A POCO is your own employee who becomes an expert and source of information on undermining and safety. In this way, your company contributes to increasing a safe working environment.

We are also organizing a meeting on September 16, in which we take participants through two hours of case histories surrounding crime in the floriculture sector, especially transportation. Police and also a former criminal will share insights this day. Participants will receive tips and tools to get started themselves for a safe working environment.

A Mystery Visit is also among the possibilities. A Mystery Visitor is an ex-con who knows how a criminal works and thinks and knows which vulnerabilities within the floriculture sector can be attractive to criminals. For example, by having him work with you for a day during a shift or on a transport line, the company gains insights and advice on how to combat undermining.
