In September, we launched a new POCO group in Naaldwijk, following a successful first year of the POCO network in Aalsmeer. In this way, we continue to build a safe and Weerbare Sierteeltsector. We’re applying the lessons learned from that first group to this group in Naaldwijk, as well as to the launch of a third group in the Rijnsburg region at the end of this year.

POCO stands for “Point of Contact for Subversion”: a designated point of contact within the company who is trained by us to recognize signs of subversion and criminal activity. In addition, that person also helps to promote safety and prevention within the organization.

By having an employee participate in a POCO group, your company can identify risks sooner, know how to respond to criminal pressure, demonstrate that you take security seriously, and become part of a broad security network.
