Supervision is part of it if you want to remain a strong floriculture industry
Last week a number of transport and export companies based in Westland received a visit from the police. Police Team Westland had carefully planned a number of visits with an eye for prevention and engaged with business owners about security and criminal interference.
Criminal networks are known to misuse international floriculture transports to transport their own goods such as narcotics and cash. It is therefore good to look at possible vulnerabilities in the logistics process. Where are risks and what can I do as a company to reduce them?
Part of the goal of these conversations is to help companies do their jobs safely, because only together do we keep the industry safe and resilient.
As a company, do you have questions about setting up barriers, taking action against undermining crime or just want to consult?
