grounds of Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer on Thursday, August 29.<br \/>\nThe purpose of this check is to counter criminal interference in the floriculture sector, which is attractive to criminals because of the many (inter)national transport movements.<br \/>\nThe Amsterdam Police Unit and the National Expertise and Operations Unit, together with Customs, the Dutch Labor Inspectorate and Platform Veilig Ondernemen (PVO), conducted the integral check.<br \/>\nThis was done in cooperation with Royal FloraHolland and the Weerbare Sierteeltsector approach.   <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Results of checks<\/p>\n<p>During the inspection day, 29 trucks were subjected to an integral inspection.<br \/>\nIn the process, one driver was warned for not displaying a permit.<br \/>\nFurthermore, several companies were visited to hold preventive and informative talks with employees and raise awareness.<br \/>\nThe inspection resulted in several concrete signals of criminal interference.<br \/>\nTherefore, a follow-up inspection or further investigation will take place at a number of companies.<br \/>\nThe Dutch Labor Inspectorate is conducting follow-up investigations in three cases.<br
